The Facility Materials Handler position covers the waste processes within the Center, assists with waste management, completes audits and inspections of waste areas & waste accumulation areas. This position requires a forklift operation, manual handling and an awareness of the SLB Environmental Management System.
This position interacts with the core functions on site and the waste vendors to ensure we have a compliant waste management system in place and maintains a safe working area in the waste collection and storage areas and manages the internal processes of waste being moved from work areas to the waste collection points.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage waste processes on site
- Sign Waste Manifests
- Audit/Inspect the waste areas, waste accumulation areas.
- Collate waste disposal and recycling data each month.
- Generate and maintain contacts and working relationship with the waste vendors.
- Assist in waste minimization programs.
- Manage the Emergency Response Equipment for Spills
Minimum Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driving license
- Forklift Certification
