Account Executive – FULLY REMOTE
Marquis Who’s Who Account Executives engage with candidates seeking to join our prestigious database of top executives, professionals, and entrepreneurs. These distinguished applicants have completed a detailed online questionnaire and undergone an initial screening process. In the final stage of their application, Account Executives conduct phone interviews to collect detailed information about the candidates' backgrounds, career histories, and professional aspirations, while assessing their suitability for inclusion. Upon acceptance, the AE will present new inductees with various promotional options to highlight their inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who. They also provide support in building personal brands to boost visibility, searchability, and credibility.
As a Remote Account Executive with Marquis Who’s Who, you'll have the chance to interact with some of the world's most accomplished professionals while driving impactful sales results.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Drive consistent and strategic daily call activity (place 50-100 calls per day to your lead bank).
• Conduct interviews with the inbound leads provided to assess their eligibility for inclusion in our registry while identifying their specific needs.
• Advise on suitable products and finalize the sale during the conversation ("one-call close")
• Consistently meet weekly sales goals and revenue targets
• Consistently meet all metrics and KPI's
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in our proprietary CRM software
Required Qualifications:
• Proven inside sales or highly relatable sales experience desired (applications with less than 5 years of experience will not be considered).
• Exceptional negotiation skills essential for successful sales closures.
• Excellent verbal communication skills. Candidate must demonstrate natural conversational ability, professionalism, and articulation.
• Capable of maintaining a high daily activity volume (calls, emails).
• Familiarity with CRM systems and scripts is advantageous.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency, with knowledge of virtual communication tools (Zoom, Teams, Outlook).
• Ability to work effectively from home (dedicated workspace and equipment).
• Ability to work the full workday without interruption (this is not a flexible schedule position).
• Capability to achieve sales targets and quotas.
• Capacity to handle a busy, high-activity role.
Required Technical Components
• Stable, high speed internet with sufficient Upload and Download speeds
• Computer or Laptop with 1 open port (no Tablets or Chromebooks)

Mac Computer (OS 10.15 or higher, 8 RAM, Intel Processor or M1 chip and higher)

Candidates will start with a substantial client base to contact and will receive new, fresh inbound leads daily.
• Technology
A hardwired connection is strongly suggested and may be required if connectivity poses a problem.
Candidates should be well prepared for a remote, WFH role including an updated computer device, dedicated office workspace, sufficient support equipment, and strong Internet speeds.
Internet speed tests will be conducted and must be sufficient to greenlight a hiring decision.
• Activity:
Candidates are expected to have consistent activity throughout the workday (dials/emails/call airtime).
Activity is monitored and used for coaching and development purposes.
This is not a flexible-schedule, work-from-home role.
• Working hours:
Monday-Thursday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST, and Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm EST
During the first 13 weeks candidates will frequently be asked to participate in pre-work-day meetings starting at 8:30 am/8:45 am EST.
• Room for growth:
Potential to move to our Branding Specialist Department after the employee has mastered our New Membership accounts.
• This is a HIGHLY selective role. Only candidates with extensive sales experience will be considered.
• Candidates will be asked to agree to a background check for this position.

Compensation:
• The total annual on-target earnings (OTE) ranges from $100,000 to $150,000.
• Compensation includes a base salary of $60,000 per year, with additional commissions expected to be between $40K and 90K.
• Salary and Commissions are paid weekly
• Commissions are uncapped.
