Junior Engineer responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components, including but not limited to engines, machinery, tools, and sensors.
- Use CAD software to create detailed blueprints, models, and technical drawings.
- Conduct analysis and simulations to evaluate the performance, efficiency, and reliability of mechanical systems.
- Interface with customers throughout the development process.
- Ensure machines are designed and released to manufacturing on time and within budget.
- Review and edit test plans to meet the requirements and capabilities of the company, customer and project.
- Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.
- Test and Analyze: new product and existing product performance with written report of results.
- Research customers’ needs through communications with end-users, resellers, and partners.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering
- Internship experience to 0-2 years of experience
- Proficient computer skills in Creo or SolidWorks, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excel Macros, Access database knowledge
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
- Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
