•Streamlining ComboCurve Repository for Type Curve and Forecast Updates
•Single Well Economics - Monthly Sync for updates in ARIES
•OPCOM IP tool (IP30,60,90,180) - Weekly Prep for OPCOM Meetings
•Building Lost lateral tool
•Building the well by well files pre-spud
•Post-drill reports (CORE Charter deliverable)
•Reservoir surveillance - emerging space, may need support with RTA, monitoring underperforming wells, help prep for WBR
•Reducing current excel/spotfire tools to one to two uniform tools
•Work with domain experts, data scientists, engineers to understand needs, constraints, and limitations
•Create analytical dashboards utilizing Business Intelligence software such as Spotfire, Experience Builder, and/or PowerBI
•Design, develop, and institute automated workflows utilizing various technologies (Python, GIS, SQL, Spotfire, Alteryx, MS Power Platform and more) to minimize human error, standardize data, and apply data management best practices with a focus on data integrity and governance
• Supporting the Dev Analyst Team: Dev Analyst will be imbedded to the development teams. They will need to pull on the analytics team to help streamline data management and data flows. Will need to work with PXD individuals to start bringing over some of their items into XOM.
• Streamlining ComboCurve Repository for Type Curve and Forecast Updates: This requires supporting the Delaware BU by taking the existing process and streamlining it to allow by archive of on going work efforts (Roadmap reviews, DURs, DUR refreshes, IR, Reserves reporting) and capture what our current most up to date type curves. Once workflow is established, needs to be rolled out to REs.
• Single Well Economics - Monthly Sync for updates in ARIES: This requires supporting the Delaware BU in gathering type curves, CAPEX, and timing of development to keep economics updated for our most up to date view. These economics will be refreshed monthly and provided to Rich.
• OPCOM IP tool (IP30,60,90,180) - Weekly Prep for OPCOM Meetings: Workflow is established, but tool needs to be maintained. This individual needs to also have a report from the current tool that highlights the wells that have hit a milestone (IP30, IP60, IP90, & IP180) so that REs that have wells hitting milestones can jump in, screenshot images, and provide general comments on why their wells are performing the way that they are.
• Building Lost lateral tool: Need to QC our current tool and see if we can make it more robust and user friendly
• Building the well by well files pre-spud: Will need to find a way to automate the building of well by well files for pre-spud. Can follow up on more details
• Post-drill reports (CORE Charter deliverable): More details to come, but once a set of wells are done drilling, we need to a tool to pull key metrics determined by the CORE charter to provide to cross functional teams.
• Reservoir surveillance - emerging space, may need support with RTA, monitoring underperforming wells, help prep for WBR: Need to look into tools to help automate WBR process for BU.
• Reducing current excel/spotfire tools to one to two uniform tools: Lots of spotfire/excel tools being used without any standardization. Need to compile list of tools being used and see how we can consolidate and make sure tools are uniform and drive standardization.
• Work with domain experts, data scientists, engineers to understand needs, constraints, and limitations: This is on going and will be tied to different work items that come up either by the BU or Dev analyst team.
• Create analytical dashboards utilizing Business Intelligence software such as Spotfire, Experience Builder, and/or PowerBI: Need to build some additional dashboards for the different work efforts above, so they need to be versed in spotfire and ideally PowerBI.
• Design, develop, and institute automated workflows utilizing various technologies (Python, GIS, SQL, Spotfire, Alteryx, MS Power Platform and more) to minimize human error, standardize data, and apply data management best practices with a focus on data integrity and governance
