Our client is seeking a Full-Time Planner to support US based LNG export facility and service the global demand for North American natural gas. This Houston-based position will support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead planning sessions and develop, update, and manage project schedules for Field Service (FSA) teams.
- Apply appropriate planning and scheduling methodologies to support project control activities effectively.
- Assist the operations team in addressing cost, schedule, and change-related issues.
- Establish and maintain standardized reporting formats for management updates.
- Review schedules to ensure they contain adequate detail and structure for effective progress tracking.
- Create and maintain fully integrated, resource-loaded schedules to ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Develop and implement schedule-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress.
- Gather and analyze progress data, logic, and manpower metrics from operations and plant personnel.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings and provide recommendations to adjust for changes, communicating deviations and impacts clearly.
Qualifications:
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree (preferably in an Engineering discipline) or equivalent experience in LNG project engineering and/or construction.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of site construction planning and scheduling experience.
- Proven track record in enhancing processes and systems proactively.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels and with stakeholders from diverse disciplines and agencies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Expertise in Microsoft Project specifically.
