- Manage and execute the different phases of field process start-up with different technologies: ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, nanofiltration and its pretreatment system, including process, maintenance, design, membrane fouling and chemical cleaning with hands-on experience in commissioning, operation and troubleshooting.
- Decide on treatment process design and recommend solutions to engineering problems.
- Handle various chemicals, systems safely
- Perform instrumentation analysis and calibrations and Jar tests
- Manage sludge treatment methods, technologies and processes
- Operate, troubleshoot and maintain air compressors, slurry pumps and chemical pumps of various types.
- Commissioning of pneumatic systems and installation of various types of control valves and flow meters.
- Write standard operating procedures, manuals and training materials, and be able to train the customer.
- Lead on-site kick-off meetings with clients and managers
- Check the site layout to ensure it is compatible with the as-built drawings.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, civil, electrical or industrial engineering or equivalent;
- A master's degree in water treatment or equivalent experience is an asset;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field or in an applied research laboratory in chemical processes;
- Good understanding of water treatment and wastewater treatment processes such as MBR, MBBR, Actiflo, Filters and pre-treatment, for various applications such as municipal, industrial and mining treatment plants;
- Bilingual: French and English, spoken and written. Use of English: very frequent, particularly in the context of regular interventions in English-speaking geographical areas to ensure effective communication and adequate training of local operators.
- Mastery of PLC and SCADA systems;
- Available to travel (between 40 and 50% of the time);
- Construction site experience: has good practical knowledge of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics and control or likes to develop them;
- Proficiency in Google environment software
