The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with project managers to ensure successful project execution. This role is critical in supporting the company's growth and ensuring profitability on electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze project blueprints and specifications to prepare accurate electrical cost estimates.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and pricing for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess project scope and timelines.
- Review and analyze bid documents to develop competitive proposals.
- Maintain a database of labor rates, material costs, and productivity rates to enhance estimation accuracy.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information for estimates.
- Prepare and present estimates to management and clients, providing clear explanations of cost components.
Qualifications- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency in estimation software.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
