Production Superintendent within
Eni Congo S.A. in
Qidong, China. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective production operations of the FLNG Floaters 1.
Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).
Main responsibilities:
During EPCIC / Project Phase: - Actively support the OR&A Manager to ensure the accomplishment of the Operations Readiness scope.
- Build the offshore Production team by monitoring and supervising all steps, including recruitment and mobilization, training requirements, competency assessment, and team-building initiatives.
- Provide support in awarding contracts relevant to production.
- Actively participate in finalizing all O&M documentation (e.g., operating instructions, work instructions, manuals) and ensure proper familiarization of the crew by promoting awareness sessions.
- Assist and facilitate safe, reliable, and timely commissioning and start-up.
During OPERATIONS Phase: - Supervise, monitor, and review the planning and implementation of production activities to minimize costs and maximize the efficient use of resources.
- Manage the plant operation monitoring and analysis program to ensure plant safety and integrity, maximize plant productivity and performance, and detect opportunities for improvement.
- Plan, execute, and monitor loading and metering, and report production, loading, and metering as per Company procedures.
- Ensure that the Production Team (including Contractor staff) is staffed with the skills, knowledge, experience, and diversity required to carry out production activities successfully.
- Ensure that the Production Team's competencies enable them to operate in a safe, reliable manner.
- Participate in the planning and execution of planned shutdowns and turnarounds by being responsible for the production department's scope of work in the planning phase, preparedness review, execution of shutdown activities, and plant start-up.
- Plan, organize, and follow up on laboratory activities to ensure product quality and compliance with the plant's safe operating envelopes.
- Cooperate with the Company Production Planning team to deliver the Annual Plan, quarterly plans, and cargo schedules.
- Raise technical change requests and participate in their technical evaluation.
- Ensure a dedicated Plant Housekeeping Program to maintain all plant areas tidy and in line with environmental requirements according to Company HSE Policy and Best Practices.
- Reinforce a robust PTW system aboard the FLNG facility.
Skills and experience required: - BSc in Engineering; MBA is a plus.
- Extensive experience in the O&G business, preferably in LNG plants, with a minimum of 7 years in a managerial/coordination position.
- BOSIET and HUET certifications.
- Solid knowledge of LNG production management.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in English; intermediate knowledge of French is preferred.
