Eni, we are looking for a
HSE Superintendent within
Eni Congo S.A. You will act as main representative and reference for all HSE related issues onboard of the FLNG, ensuring compliance with International Standards, Company HSE Policy and Classification Society Requirements, through effective planning and implementation of Company HSE Integrated Management System, monitoring, reporting and measuring HSE performance against set objectives and KPIs to achieve world class HSE performance.
Location and Work Pattern: CHINA : From January 2025 to September 2025 (9 months): TOWN BASED (Qidong),
RESIDENTIAL .
CONGO : From October 2025/duration 24/36 months: OFFSHORE 28/28 (Marine XII LNG,
ROTATIONAL .As a member of the HSE Department, you will be responsible for: During EPCIC / Project Phase
- Planning and managing the accomplishment of the HSEQ activities that are part of the Operations Readiness Plan.
- Managing the implementation of the Company HSE Policy and Integrated Management System into the OR&A scope of Project.
- Ensuring implementation of HSE requirements into the contracts relevant to operations phase.
- Defining the HSE training program to be delivered to all operational personnel, including Contractor staff.
- Ensuring operational HSE requirements are considered into technical HSE project documentation.
- Participating in the development of the emergency response plan for the FLNG.
- Ensuring Lessons Learned from specific LNG incidents/accidents, as well as industry wide, are well captured and capitalized inside the design and the management of operations.
During OPERATIONS Phase
- Manage the development, update, communication, training and implementation of the COMPANY HSE Integrated Management System onboard the FLNG.
- Monitor and manage the HSE competences into all roles, both COMPANY and CONTRACTOR, by effective implementation of a Competence Management System.
- Ensure effective implementation of Risk Management Processes including those of occupational safety and process safety.
- Act as the owner of the internal audit program and act as facilitator for the external audit program.
- Implement incident/accident investigation and reporting procedure.
- Manage the development and implementation of an effective HSE communication system that ensures HSE matters are reliably communicated to the workforce, and that workers are involved in HSE matters that might have impact on them including circulars, KPI dashboards, incident and lessons learnt briefs, HSE committees.
- Ensure technical HSE and technical safety documentation are reviewed and updated in line with company standards.
- Monitor and report HSEQ performance using both active and reactive methods including statistics, audits, workplace inspections, safety tours/walkthrough.
- Implement a behavioural based safety program to empower work force intervention on HSE related observations.
- Promote a safety culture across FLNG organization and COTRACTOR organization.
- Monitor and manage CONTRACTOR's HSEQ performance.
- Support the implementation of the Emergency Response Plan ensuring emergency equipment and adequate competence are reliability managed to prevent and mitigate possible consequences to the people, the asset and the environment.

- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- Extensive experience in the O&G business, preferably offshore and on LNG production units, and in a managerial/coordination position
- NEBOSH
- BOSIET + HUET
- Lead/ internal auditor (ISO14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001)
Preferred:
- Excellent HSE leadership
- Full knowledge of HSEQ and process safety management system
- Skill-full incident investigator
- Good capabilities in Emergency Response related matters
- Full knowledge of different methods of process hazard analysis
- Good capability to manage multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in English language.
- Intermediate knowledge of French language is preferred.
