This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated mechanical engineer to work in a positive, high energy, collaborative environment with other skilled engineers and manage your own projects from a blank sheet through production. You will consult with the other engineers, and provide input on their projects, work together on both to assemble and modify prototypes. Our engineers have been named on patents, too!!
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from product requirements & specifications through first production and inspection.
- Mechanical design of products including 3D models and technical drawings with tolerance and material specifications.
- Calculations & Design Analysis.
- Collaborate with vendors and production teams leaders to ensure successful manufacturing, assembly, inspection and service of products
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical product development environment preferred.
Relevant experience in hands-on fields including machining, quality inspection, mechanical repair, and/or fabrication may be considered.
- Proficiency in design using SolidWorks CAD software.
- Solid understanding of relevant manufacturing processes, design parameters, tolerances, and finishing
