About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Engineer III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior or recent experience with Verizon, a strong background in telecommunications engineering, and a proven ability to work independently. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, innovative thinking, and collaborative skills to address complex problems and drive solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently with minimal supervision to assess and resolve complex engineering problems.
- Investigate, develop, appraise, and present solutions using an interdisciplinary approach.
- Assist in developing specifications for telecommunications networks, implementing and testing systems, and documenting engineering processes.
- Initiate concept development and trade-off studies to identify optimal solutions.
- Consult extensively with internal teams, customer representatives, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of projects.
- Direct the design of electronic or mechanical devices at the subsystem level.
- Devise and implement tests for evaluating, debugging, and validating systems and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in engineering, with a focus on telecommunications networks and systems.
- Certifications: Network+ and CCNA certifications are mandatory.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, knowledge of engineering principles, and hands-on experience in network systems design and testing.
- Verizon Experience: Prior or recent professional experience with Verizon is highly desirable
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
