We're looking for a seasoned and inspiring European deployment manager to join Oceaneering Mobile Robotics (OMR) at a pivotal moment for the business. Oceaneering is building and investing in a mobile robotics portfolio and OMR is one of the key pieces in that technology and product roadmap. As deployment leader you are responsible for the successful delivery of customer projects. Together with project managers, project engineers and automation engineers you deliver our system in time, within budget and according to customer requirements. As deployment manager you work in close cooperation with the sales teams, production teams and service teams. Your leadership will help shape the culture of collaboration and successful delivery at OMR and in the AGV industry. You will champion the change for standards and processes,
Functions
ESSENTIAL
• Supervise a team of project manager, project engineers and automation engineers in our office in the Netherlands, and our support center in India.
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• With your delivery team, execute the project delivery roadmap ensuring that Oceaneering leads the AGV industry.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understand their needs, and ensure the delivery of exceptional solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring seamless execution of projects and services. Implement best practices to enhance operational Health & safety, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee all aspects of our products including the coordination, testing and integration of the software
products with the hardware products and system solutions.
• Cultivate a positive and respectful working environment within teams and throughout the organization.
• Review progress and evaluate results of work accomplished by self and others.
• Independently direct the development and completion of highly complex engineering projects.
• Review and approve objectives, schedules, and estimates for difficult assignments.

Qualifications
REQUIRED
• Bachelor's degree in business development or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Approximately ten years of relevant project leadership or supervisory experience within Automation and robotics Industry, (Automated) Material Handling Solutions, Machinery & Industrial Engineering or related industries
• Good understanding of engineering processes, documentation, and data systems
• Experienced in leading a multinational team
• Excellent people skills
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good practical experience of risk management
• Excellent written and oral communications in English are essential.
• Ability to travel domestically and international required.
DESIRED
• Familiar with INCOSE system engineering practices
• Written and oral communications in German is a significant advantage.
